The Placer County Queens and Ambassadors are Placer County Fair pageant titleholders and their courts who volunteer their time in the community.  They were awarded their titles by competing in areas such as panel interview, impromptu stage question, knowledge of Placer County, reliability, stage presence and personality.

They have impressive resumes and are dedicated to their volunteer activities.  Annual activities include crab feeds with the Roseville Lions Club, the Roseville Arts Center, the Boys and Girls Club of Auburn, the All American Speedway in Roseville, Tommy Apostles, and many more.

A note from Ashley ~

Pageant night is always fun and exciting for me.  I love to be on stage and compete.  This night was especially fulfilling for me as I was given the Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship and a $500 cash award!  The award was based on interview responses to questions regarding personal character, responsibility, and commitment.  I am very honored to have received this award.  Thank you John Moore, owner of JM Environmental Co.

I was also very happy to receive Miss Congeniality - voted by my fellow contestants as the person who best represents what pageant sisterhood is all about.  I take pride in my personal relationships and hope that all the girls had as much fun as I did.

I'm very excited to represent Placer County this year and plan to dedicate my efforts to the Boys and Girls Club of Auburn, and also hope to start a program of my own.
